TECCON AND MOBILE MAPPING
Mobile mapping is a technology where a vehicle is equipped with cameras or scanners who can digitally record all data for the specific road it travels.
The demand is increasing for this kind of fast and correct measurement data who creates all kinds of maps, for GIS applications, inventories, etc.
In order to meet this need, Teccon ltd recently invested in this latest technology, based on laser measurements, specifically developed for mobile use.
With this mobile mapping technique, Teccon ltd records geo-referenced colour pictures of a specific environment, and scans a 3D point cloud at the same time,
at an until now unknown speed and coverage.
Based on this data, we supply both maps of GIS data and the data itself, from which the user can produces his own maps or extract data.
This data allows users, such as land
surveyors/experts, planners, architects, research agencies, industries and governmental authorities to:
- match their projects to the existing environmental situation;
- manage their projects in a faster and more efficient way;
- realise their projects.
Teccon ltd was founded in April 2002 by three established land surveying offices.
Teccon ltd getters the experience and specialisations of these founders, and is an independent consultancy agency for land surveying.
Teccon supplies quality services and cartographic products to governmental authorities, companies, and private individuals.
Teccon is not a study agency, but supplies instead support services to specialised study agencies as a reliable basis for realising their own projects.
There fore we do not compete with our clients.
